Hi everyone!

My name is Juliette, and I am a fourth-year undergraduate student in Human Geography at the University of Toronto with minors in GIS and Linguistics. I am overjoyed to have the opportunity to be a ECCE student associate at UofT and look forward to all that this program has to offer.

In my first year of studies, I took a one-off geography class that wholly changed the trajectory of my education and I have since developed a passion for all things related to geography. My main areas of interest include public transit and making the urban landscape better for those in marginalized groups. I also enjoy geographic research that deals with land use patterns, urban analytics, sustainable transportation, and spatial inequities. Most recently, I have worked on creating a network analysis to determine if marginalized communities have equal and fair access to medical services within the city of Toronto. As well, in my spare time I have been working on a mapping project with a colleague regarding crime rate patterns occurring in Toronto’s bars. In my daily life I love baking treats, thrifting for clothes, and visiting the theatre to catch a movie.

I am looking forward to sharing my research with the ECCE community through blog posts and competing in the 2026 App Challenge. I am excited to connect with other associates who share a similar passion in GIS and geography.
